Dr. Rajender Pensiya, presently serving as the District Magistrate of Moradabad and formerly District Magistrate of Sambhal, is an inspiration for thousands of youths across the country, especially for those preparing for UPSC and other competitive examinations.
“The need of the hour is to fight the storm; how long will you keep walking on the shore?”
Dr. Rajender Pensiya not only believed in this thought but transformed it into reality through his determination, hard work, and perseverance. His journey reflects how continuous effort and clear goals can lead to extraordinary success.
A resident of Srikaranpur Tehsil in Sri Ganganagar, Dr. Pensiya secured the 345th rank in the IAS Examination 2014. His professional journey began in 2005 when he was selected as a teacher. Later, he was appointed as a BDO, but his ambitions did not stop there. He continued preparing for higher administrative services with unwavering dedication.
In 2011, his hard work brought remarkable success when he secured the 8th rank in the RAS examination. Even after this achievement, he continued striving for his ultimate goal of becoming an IAS officer. His persistence finally paid off in his fifth attempt, when he achieved success in the UPSC Civil Services Examination and joined the Indian Administrative Service.
His father, Ashrafi Chand, served in BSNL. Dr. Rajender Pensiya has credited his success to the constant support and guidance of his family members and mentors, including Jitendra Soni, Dr. Indresh Goyal, Deepak Nandi, and Pradeep Ji.
